GeForce NOW Powered By Yes 5G Expands Accessibility In Malaysia
By Lewis Larcombe|July 25, 2024|0 Comment
The gaming landscape in Malaysia is undergoing a transformation. Since its introduction in June 2023, NVIDIA GeForce NOW Powered by Yes 5G has revolutionised the way gamers experience their favourite titles. Now, with the introduction of new 1- and 3-day passes and dedicated experience zones at select Yes Experience Stores, cloud gaming is more accessible than ever.
Essentially, GeForce NOW allows gamers to stream the latest AAA games directly from the cloud, bypassing the need for downloads and updates. This means that gamers can jump straight into action on any device, whether it’s a new or older laptop, tablet, or smartphone, without sacrificing graphics, performance, or storage capacity. So a perfect alternative for those of us with gaping holes in our wallets.
The expansion of the GeForce NOW experience to Yes Experience Stores across Malaysia is a significant step in bringing cloud gaming to more people. The first of these zones is now open at the Yes Experience Store at Lot 10 in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, offering you gamers the chance to experience cloud gaming’s freedom at your favourite malls.
Wing K. Lee, CEO of YTL Communications Sdn Bhd, expressed excitement about these developments:
“Back in 2023, we were thrilled to collaborate with NVIDIA to bring GeForce NOW Powered by Yes 5G to Malaysians. With our uncapped high-speed 5G data, we provided an ideal platform for gamers across Malaysia to enjoy seamless gameplay on any device, significantly enhancing their gaming experience.”
Yes 5G is launching new 1- and 3-day gaming passes, priced from just RM10, granting access to over 1,900 games. These passes are perfect for gamers looking to enjoy premium gaming experiences without a long-term commitment. For more extensive access, monthly and annual passes are available at RM50/month and RM500/year for standard members, and RM30/month and RM300/year for Yes 5G members, offering excellent value for uninterrupted gaming.
The newly upgraded Yes Experience Store at Lot 10 invites everyone to experience the GeForce NOW Powered by Yes 5G first-hand. Visitors can explore how this service allows high-performance gameplay on virtually any device, regardless of its specifications, thanks to cloud technology.
The Yes Experience Stores feature interactive displays and hands-on demos of the latest 5G-enabled devices and services. Knowledgeable staff are available to provide personalised consultations and guide visitors through the benefits of 5G technology.
Yes 5G is set to expand these GeForce NOW Powered by Yes 5G experience zones to more locations, including PJ, Sabah, and Penang, making the future of gaming even more accessible.
