Coral Island Switch Port May Never Happen But Devs Offer Something Else In Exchange
By Alleef Ashaari|July 26, 2024|0 Comment
Several days ago, publisher Humble Games, owned by Ziff Davis via IGN Entertainment, suffered from layoffs. This has caused issues for many indie games published by Humble Games, including Coral Island by Stairway Games.
Stairway Games has been working on a Nintendo Switch version of Coral Island but it might never happen now, in light of what happened to Humble Games.
To address that, Stairway Games has released an official statement on Coral Island’s future on all platforms. As a consolation for the lack of a Nintendo Switch version, the developer is allowing Switch backers to receive a Steam code for the PC version instead.
You can read the full statement from Stairway Games below:
Coral Island is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
