Exoborne Makes Its Gameplay Debut At Gamescom 2024
By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|August 15, 2024|0 Comment
Level Infinite and Sharkmob have officially unveiled the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming tactical open-world extraction shooter, Exoborne. Currently in development for PC and consoles, Exoborne will make its presence known at Gamescom 2024, hosted at the Level Infinite booth in Hall 6.
With Sharkmob’s commitment to a “test early, test often” development approach, the team is working closely with the gaming community to refine Exoborne. Earlier this year, the first major closed online test concluded, and more opportunities are on the horizon. Players interested in shaping the future of Exoborne can sign up on the game’s official website to receive updates and participate in upcoming tests.
Exoborne transports players to a chaotic world where survival hinges on the extraordinary abilities of the Reborn, survivors equipped with powerful Exo-Rigs. In this dangerous environment, marked by warring factions and elemental disasters, players must harness the raw power of their Exo-Rigs for combat and movement. The most daring players can venture into the heart of deadly storms to secure the best loot—if they can survive the journey back.
Scavenging for gear and technology in the ruins of a crumbling society is essential for survival. However, the ever-present risk of losing it all adds to the intensity, as each expedition comes with its own set of challenges and rewards.
Visitors to Gamescom 2024 in Cologne are in for a treat. The Sharkmob team will be at the Level Infinite Booth in Hall 6, where attendees can enjoy a gameplay presentation at the Exoborne community lounge. Expect Exo-Rig cosplays, stage shows, and a game-inspired data treasure hunt that extends beyond the booth. Keep an eye on the game’s social channels for more details on these exciting activities.
