Toei Animation has teamed up with developer Toydium to unveil Noroi Kago: The Grudged Domain, a four-player cooperative survival horror game set for release on Steam in 2025. The game is slated to debut at the Tokyo Game Show 2024, running from 26-29 September at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan.

A Nightmarish Journey Through Japanese Folklore

Noroi Kago plunges players into a cursed domain filled with Yokai, sinister supernatural beings from Japanese legends. Trapped in this terrifying environment, up to four players must cooperate to escape, all while battling the threat of a creeping curse that could turn them into monstrous half-Yokai.

• Cooperative Survival Gameplay: Up to four players work together, avoiding Yokai, gathering ritual items, and navigating an ever-changing map. The dynamic environment ensures each playthrough feels fresh, with item locations and objectives shifting each time.
• Distinct Japanese Horror Aesthetic: Co-developed by Toei Animation and Toydium, the game’s visual style draws inspiration from Shigeru Mizuki, famed creator of GeGeGe no Kitaro.
