Clock Tower: Rewind To Make Its Scares Close To Halloween
WayForward has announced the release date of its upcoming Clock Tower remaster, which is a classic horror adventure title dating back in 1995 on the Super NES/Famicom.
Clock Tower: Rewind will launch for PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on 29 October for the West and English-speaking audiences, just days before Halloween. It should be noted that the Japanese version will be out on exactly Halloween: 31st October. The game will support multiple languages: English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Korean for example.
The first Clock Tower game came out in Japan back in 1995 for the Super Famicom, and stars a little girl named Jennifer as she has to escape the clutches of the killer known by Scissorman in the Barrows family manor she lives in. The game is notable for being inspired by Italian horror filmmaker Dario Argento’s work, especially by Phenomena back in 1985. In fact, Jennifer in the original game is inspired by Jennifer Connely’s character in Phenomena, but without the bug-controlling powers.
