Sifu Leads Impressive Lineup of New Xbox Game Pass for October

Microsoft has announced the first wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in October 2o24 which includes Sloclap’s awesome beat-em-up game, Sifu. Even if you’re not a fan of the game, players can look forward to an exciting lineup coming early this month. Let’s take a look!

Imagine stepping into the shoes of a young Kung Fu student seeking revenge after their family is brutally murdered by a mysterious assassination squad. Get ready for the latest and greatest in the MLB The Show series! MLB The Show 24 is hitting Xbox Game Pass today, and it’s packed with all the action and excitement you’ve come to expect. This game is not just about playing baseball, it’s about rising through the ranks and making a name for yourself. And in a first for the series, the 2024 edition introduces a career mode for female players, making it the most inclusive baseball video game.

Open Roads is a narrative-driven adventure that explores themes of self-discovery and family secrets. The story revolves around a mother and daughter setting out on a cross-country journey to uncover long-forgotten family properties and uncover a secret about their recently departed mother/grandmother. Inscryption is a thrilling blend of roguelike and deck-building genres, infused with a chilling horror atmosphere. You’ll make tough choices, including sacrificing animal-based cards to gain an edge against your opponent, all while delving into the secrets hidden beyond the card game itself. This game is full of surprises and twists, and the less you know about it going in, the more intense and thrilling your experience will be. Inscryption is an absolute rollercoaster that will completely subvert your expectations.
The first wave of games for October 2024 has been announced, but there’s even more to look forward to on Game Pass later in the month. One of the biggest releases will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, set to launch on 25 October and marking the first time a Call of Duty game debuts on Game Pass on its release day. This follows Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard for $69 billion.
