By Alisha Alix|October 10, 2024|0 Comment
If you think Mojiken Studio’s hit pixel art indie adventure, A Space for the Unbound is old news, think again. Publisher Toge Productions has confirmed that the game will be released for iOS next year.
The upcoming iOS release will allow more players to experience the game’s charming blend of exploration and storytelling from anywhere. It’s expected that the iOS version of A Space for the Unbound contains the first Prologue Chapter, which can be played for free. To unlock the full game, you will need to make an in-app purchase. Unfortunately, Android users may have to wait for their slice of the pie on this reveal.
For those new to the game, A Space for the Unbound is a captivating slice-of-life adventure featuring stunning pixel art, set in rural Indonesia during the late 90s. It weaves a touching tale about overcoming anxiety, depression, and the extraordinary bond between a boy and a girl with supernatural abilities. In our review of the game, we said:
“It tells a compelling and relatable plot while introducing a new type of setting unheard of in most games of this genre; one that’s proud about its heritage and culture.”
A Space for the Unbound first launched for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on 19 January 2023. Apple users can expect the game’s launch on the App Store on 4 April 2025.
