The spirit of Halloween is giving good vibes to indie horror game Crow Country.

The low-poly PlayStation 1 graphics-tailored survival horror game from SFB Games has sold over 100,000 copies since its May launch. Two-thirds of those numbers are the PC version (via Steam), and the rest are on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, and PS5. In addition, the game also has newly-released localization for the following languages:

• Japanese
• Korean
• Italian
• Chinese

Here’s a quote regarding the milestone from SBF Games lead Tom Vian:

“100k copies in under 6 months is far beyond our highest hopes for Crow Country! It’s been incredible to see so many people enjoy the game and recommend it to each other, especially now in the runup to Halloween. Thank you so much to everyone who’s played so far!”

As if that wasn’t enough, Crow Country is also sporting merchandise from Fangamer later on 29 October. These include a t-shirt, keychains, and pins. The Crow Country plushie and physical versions will be out in 2025.

Given its indie status, 100,000 copies is quite a huge sales milestone. With one more platform added and new languages, the game might get a new fanbase outside of English-speaking territories.

Crow Country is now out for PlayStation 4. The game is also available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox consoles. For more on the game, check out our review.
