Astral Ascent Joins Forces with Dead Cells This November

Hibernian Workshop, MP2 Games, and Maple Whispering Limited have some exciting news for fans of their action roguelike game, Astral Ascent: they’re collaborating with the beloved game Dead Cells for an epic crossover!

In this thrilling update, players will gain access to five distinctive weapons from Dead Cells, each offering unique playstyles and 15 new passives to enhance their gameplay. One of the standout features in the upcoming 1.9 update is the ability to wield two weapons at once, encouraging players to explore new combo possibilities and strategies in combat.

Here’s the scoop on the five unique weapons from Dead Cells:

  • Nutcracker for Kiran
  • Throwing Knives for Ayla
  • Wrenching Whip for Octave
  • Scythe Claw for Calie
  • Symmetrical Lance for Yamat

What’s more, all these weapons will be visible while you’re playing, so it’s definitely an upgrade for fans to revisit the game and newcomers to try out. Plus, you can unlock passives for both weapons simultaneously, making for some exciting gameplay dynamics!

Mark your calendars: the Astral Ascent x Dead Cells update is set to be released on 27 November 2024 for all platforms.
