Thought-Provoking Narrative Indie Miniatures Is Out Now

Publisher and developer Other Tales Interactive, renowned for their award-winning co-op puzzler Tick Tock: A Tale for Two, has officially launched their highly anticipated indie game, Miniatures. This thought-provoking title invites players to embark on a nostalgic journey through four beautifully crafted vignettes, each designed to evoke the wonder and complexity of childhood memories.

In Miniatures, players can explore, interact with, and watch as the world evolves around them. This artist-led experience reconnects players with the magic, joy, and solitude often seen through a child’s eyes. Each vignette revolves around a unique object found within an old wooden box—a toy lizard, a captured moth, a screwdriver, and a seashell—representing distinct stories filled with emotion and insight.

Players have the flexibility to engage with each story individually or experience all four in a single session. With an average playtime of 30 to 45 minutes, Miniatures provides a reflective solo adventure that delves into the narratives we create and their influence on our perception of the world.

Since its release, the game has garnered positive reviews on Steam, with players praising its stunning artwork, intriguing puzzles, and poignant narratives. Many have described it as “a beautifully put together experience” that lingers in the mind long after playing.

Miniatures is currently available on multiple platforms, including itch.io, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and PC via Steam.
