Guilty Gear Strive 1.41 Update Brings New Online Mode and Fixes
By Ali'sha HarrisVerified|November 19, 2024|0 Comment
Arc System Works has just dropped the patch notes for the much-anticipated Guilty Gear Strive update 1.41, and players are in for a treat with the introduction of the new Team Of 3 mode! It’s worth noting that the update will be available starting 20 November for all platforms.
This exciting online mode lets three players team up for some epic 3v3 format. One player will take on the role of the Main fighter, while the other two will serve as Assist players, providing support through a variety of skills. You can even swap between Main and Assist roles during the matches, adding a fun twist to the gameplay.
Plus, there’s a ranked play option that matches teams based on skill levels, from Iron to Diamond. Other game modes like Team Of 3 Player Match, Skill Customization, and Sparring Mode are also available for practicing, leveling up your skills, and trying out different team strategies.
On top of the new mode, this update brings a bunch of fixes to previously reported issues in Guilty Gear Strive. Characters such as Ky, Chipp, Potemkin, and Ramlethal got some much-needed tweaks to fix annoying problems like weird cooldowns, collision bugs, and glitches during Wall Breaks.
System-level adjustments are being made as well to ensure better scaling for attack and defense stats during Positive Bonus states, making gameplay smoother by addressing lag issues in certain situations.
Looking ahead, Arc System Works is aware of ongoing issues that will be tackled in future updates. These include some quirks with Ramlethal’s sword attacks, unexpected movement speeds in Dizzy’s Ice Field, and display glitches in Training Mode’s damage data. Players can expect more news on the timeline for these fixes soon, demonstrating the team’s dedication to keeping the game in top shape.
With this new game mode and all the improvements, players can gear up for a more enjoyable experience. And as Guilty Gear Strive is set to launch on Nintendo Switch on 23 January 2025, these updates are important to ensuring it meets players’ expectations.
Guilty Gear Strive is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Get ready to dive in and have some fun!
