MOONTON Unveils Action-Packed 2025 Esports Calendar
By Lewis Larcombe|December 14, 2024|0 Comment
The future of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports looks brighter than ever. MOONTON Games dropped their ambitious 2025 Esports Roadmap at the M6 Summit in Malaysia, setting the stage for another thrilling year in mobile esports. The headline news? The M7 World Championship is officially locked for January 2026, with host announcements for both the M7 and MSC 2025 coming on 15 December during the M6 World Championship Grand Finals.’
MOONTON’s roadmap ensures that MLBB’s competitive scene remains non-stop. Here’s the breakdown:
MOONTON also teased plans for their latest game, Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG), which aims to carve out its own esports ecosystem. Currently soft-launched in Malaysia and Singapore, the strategy game has already hit over 10 million pre-registrations and will debut tournaments starting in Indonesia.
Mike Chu, MOONTON’s Head of Regional Esports, highlighted MLBB’s growing global appeal:
“With the inclusion of a Chinese league and increased regional diversity at M Series tournaments, MLBB is now truly a global esports brand.”
This sentiment echoed at the M6 Summit, which saw a historic first: teams from four different regions reaching the Semi-Finals of the M6 World Championship.
To foster global growth, MOONTON also signed an MoU with the Jordan Esports Federation (JEF), aiming to nurture Jordan’s esports scene through tournaments, education, and talent scouting.
Beyond the competition, the M6 Summit brought together over 200 industry leaders to explore innovation and collaboration in gaming and esports. With support from partners like Qiddiya and Hotlink, MOONTON Games is doubling down on its mission to expand esports and build stronger communities worldwide.
If 2024 was exciting for MLBB fans, 2025 promises to be a blockbuster year for the world’s most popular mobile esports title.
