New Wolf Man Trailer Reveals The Transformation & Look Of The Werewolf
By Alleef AshaariVerified|January 8, 2025|0 Comment
United International Pictures Malaysia has unveiled a new teaser trailer for Wolf Man, which reveals the initial full transformation, design and look of the titular werewolf.
Wolf Man is a reboot/remake of the classic 1941’s The Wolf Man (which is still a good watch even today!).
Director Leigh Whannell returns to the world of the Universal Monsters with next year’s Wolf Man. His last movie was 2020’s The Invisible Man, which was an extremely chilling remake of another classic horror movie monster (check out our full review here). He also directed other successful movies such as Upgrade and Insidious Chapter 3.
Christopher Abbott (Poor Things, It Comes at Night) stars as Blake, a San Francisco husband and father, who inherits his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father vanishes and is presumed dead. With his marriage to his high-powered wife, Charlotte (Emmy winner Julia Garner; Ozark, Inventing Anna), fraying, Blake persuades Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their young daughter, Ginger (Matlida Firth; Hellraisers, Coma).
But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they’re attacked by an unseen animal and, in a desperate escape, barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter. As the night stretches on, however, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable, and Charlotte is forced to decide whether the terror within their house is more lethal than the danger without.
It also stars Sam Jaeger (The Handmaid’s Tale), Ben Prendergast (The Sojourn Audio Drama) and Benedict Hardie (The Invisible Man).
Wolf Man will premiere in Malaysian cinemas on 16 January 2025.
