Capcom Spotlight February 2025: Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Gets Mid-Year Release Date
The upcoming collection Capcom and SNK fans are waiting for will be out later this year.
The Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be out on 16 May 2025 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The collection will feature the following eight games:
- Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro
- Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001
- Capcom Fighting Evolution
- Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER
- Project Justice
- Power Stone
- Power Stone 2
- Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein
All these titles support online play with rollback netcode, so you may not need to use other means of playing these classics online like FightCade (though when’s that stopping you cheapskates?). Other features include training mode, save/load states, instruction cards, EX settings (for certain titles), loads of art and design documentation, and more.
If you pre-order the game early, you can get bonus new remix soundtracks such as “Soy Sauce for Geese” and “Rival Schools Medley” arranged by in-house band CAP-JAMS. YOu can’t play these in-game, but they sound pretty cool as far as remixes go that you can listen to them on their own. New pre-order trailer below:
