PUBG Mobile Teams Up With BABYMONSTER For A K-Pop-Packed Anniversary Bash

PUBG Mobile is celebrating seven years of battle royale mayhem the only way it knows how—by turning the volume all the way up. And who better to crank up the energy than BABYMONSTER, K-pop’s latest sensation?

From now until 6 May 2025, players can drop into a battleground infused with BABYMONSTER’s signature style, featuring interactive gameplay elements, exclusive in-game rewards, and—yes—an actual dance emote. Because nothing says “chicken dinner” like hitting a K-pop routine in the middle of a warzone.

K-Pop Meets the Battlegrounds

This collaboration transforms PUBG Mobile’s Erangel and Rondo maps into an all-out BABYMONSTER experience. Special video buses will cruise through the game, offering fans the chance to hop on, watch exclusive messages from the group, and earn in-game rewards. There are also BABYMONSTER-themed photo zones, complete with an interactive booth where players can strike a pose with their favourite member.

But that’s not all. PUBG Mobile is introducing a BABYMONSTER-branded cassette player, letting players jam to the group’s biggest hits while dodging bullets. And if you’ve ever wanted to flex your K-pop dance skills mid-match, the new “DRIP” dance emote lets you pull off BABYMONSTER’s signature moves—because surviving a battle royale is great, but surviving in style is even better.

BABYMONSTER: The Next Global Sensation

Fresh off their first studio album DRIP and a world tour, BABYMONSTER is taking the K-pop world by storm. This seven-member powerhouse—RUKA, PHARITA, ASA, AHYEON, RAMI, RORA, and CHIQUITA—has quickly cemented its place as one of the most exciting acts in the industry. Now, they’re bringing their high-energy performances and chart-topping music to the digital battlefield.

Tencent Games’ Vincent Wang, Head of PUBG Mobile Publishing, is all in on the collaboration:

“With PUBG MOBILE’s 7th anniversary this year, we’re excited to continue delivering fresh and engaging content for our players, and we look forward to bringing the excitement and vibrancy of BABYMONSTER to the game. With BABYMONSTER’s meteoric rise in the music industry and their undeniable impact on global pop culture, this collaboration is a perfect fusion of music and gaming. We can’t wait for players to experience the energy and style of BABYMONSTER on the battlegrounds.”

YG Entertainment is just as hyped:

“We’re thrilled to bring BABYMONSTER’s music and style to PUBG MOBILE. This collaboration offers a brand new way to engage with the band, blending the excitement of gaming with the energy of their music. It’s a thrilling opportunity to connect with audiences worldwide, and we can’t wait for players to experience BABYMONSTER in PUBG MOBILE.”

The PUBG Mobile x BABYMONSTER update runs from 21 March to 6 May 2025. If you’ve ever wanted to mix battle royale with a K-pop concert, now’s your chance.
