[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhwMoCnuYh8&w=560&h=315]

Thankfully for Mr. Wolf, the world is your weapon in Bloodroots – a relentless action game that unfolds across the sprawling Weird West. You’ll choreograph spectacular, ultra-violent combos by making use of everything around you, from hatchets to ladders, to…carrots? It’s improvise or die, as Mr. Wolf fights his way to the center of the mystery: why was he betrayed?

2. Hamsterdam (Nintendo Switch, PS Vita, Android, iOS, PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0c-SqUFb3I&w=560&h=315]

Hamsterdam is an indie game where rhythm and precision meet some good old fashioned button mashing.
With classic arcade brawling mechanics and swing, tap and swipe martial arts combos, grab your destiny with both paws and become the best Hamster-fu master of all time!

3. Speed Brawl (PS4)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRfs02TGNic&w=560&h=315]

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyJviFLnvms&w=560&h=315]

Grab and grind to your heart’s content in Wave Break! A spankin’ new game from Funktronic Labs, inspired by classic arcade skateboarding games — with a splash of boating, explosions, and cold-blooded murder.

5. Super Space Club (PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VNyjbeYaFo&w=560&h=315]

Super Space Club is an arcade-style space shooting game about pilots defending the galaxy. Setting out to be the top-ranked club in the galaxy, the player controls a group of pilots known as the ‘Super Space Club.’ The player’s objective is to complete missions and defeat as many enemies as possible while ensuring to not deplete all of their ship’s energy, sending them back to their beginning base.

6. An/Round (PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RC77slDR0vk&w=560&h=315]

An/Round is a fast-paced, physics-defying action platformer set in the mind of an android gaining sentience.

It reminds me of the hacking minigame from Nier Automata, which was surprisingly fun in its own right. An entire game just like that would be fun to play.

7. A Dual Handed Disaster: Trackher (PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJfUGZTvaF8&w=560&h=315]

A Duel Hand Disaster: Trackher is a split-screen single player twin stick shooter. Scores are meaningless unless you exit. Destroy enemies, upgrade weapons and watch your fuel consumption. That’s just the left side. Now on the right side recover resources, enable defenses and initiate multipliers.

8. Looking For Heals (PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ain-8qyALU4&w=560&h=315]

Command your squad of warriors while keeping them from an early grave in the only rogue-lite where the healer calls the shots. Heal, shield, and resurrect your way through a world filled with tough choices, powerful items, and elaborate boss fights inspired by MMO dungeon raids.

9. One Night Stand (PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC)

In One Night Stand, explore the unknown bedroom and seek out clues to identify who the stranger is and what happened to bring you both together.

You may resort to some unusual methods to find the answers you’re looking for, but take care not to prod and pry too much – a nosy guest quickly becomes an unwanted one!

Will you stay and explore your relationship with this stranger, or will you escape when the opportunity presents itself? With 12 unique endings to discover, can you keep up the act long enough to find out what really happened?

10. The Inner Friend (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-38iJ7y5ro&w=560&h=315]

The Inner Friend is a game about reconnecting with the inner child while rebuilding his safe haven piece by piece by facing his nightmares. It certainly looks like it’ll be a creepy journey. I’m sure most of you will be playing this game with the lights on.

11. Aground (PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1SV8Q_daSs&w=560&h=315]

Aground was designed around the theme of Progression, and inspired by Utopian Mining and other mining/crafting games. You start out with almost nothing, and you can eventually build your way up to a thriving settlement.

12. Refactor (PS4, PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRAtfGaii1w&w=560&h=315]

Refactor is a physics-based platformer taking elements from classic Metroidvanias. Placed in a world that is a puzzle itself, you can literally turn the world upside down by rearranging the map and building your own pathways through the game. Uncover secrets, acquire new abilities and upgrades, and discover where you fit in the world.

13. Pig Eat Ball (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_FbxQ1Hb5Q&w=560&h=315]

Eat, Fight, Solve, and BARF your way through 100’s of action-packed levels in this COLOSSAL world of arcade-adventure heaven!
Eat all the balls in a level to win, but you get FATTER WHILE YOU EAT. If you get so fat you get stuck, you’ll have to barf to squeeze through! Enjoy hours of hand-crafted chaotic SINGLE-PLAYER action with just a dash of PUZZLEY trickiness!

14. Standby (PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IF5B2CfCKOw&w=560&h=315]

Never STANDBY in this fast-paced, precise platformer and get out of the glitched world! Can you do it faster than anyone?

The gameplay looks fast and exciting, but I think it’ll be too frustrating for players not used to the frantic and chaotic pacing as seen in the trailer.

15. Demagnete VR (PSVR, PC, Oculus)

RAWMEN is a light-hearted, third person, soup-slinging food fighter. Battle alongside your taste buds (2-8 players), pitting average Joes with a talent for hurling fiery feasts against one another. [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjziW0CBGm4&w=560&h=315]

In Afterparty, you are Milo and Lola, recently deceased best buds who suddenly find themselves staring down an eternity in Hell. But there’s a loophole: outdrink Satan and he’ll grant you re-entry to Earth

21. Trigger Witch (PS4, Switch)

Solace State is a 3D visual novel about a young hacker, Chloe, who comes to her political awakening as she seeks out her friends in a sci-fi surveillance society. Make challenging choices in a city fractured by inequality and intrigue, and shape different factions that are fighting for their livelihoods.

24. Ribbiting Saga (PC)

A snappy SNES-inspired action adventure game with dungeons and bosses that change based on your choices. Laugh and get your butt kicked as you hop your way through puzzle-filled dungeons! Find hidden items and help quirky characters to get stronger.

25. Wooden Nickel (PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4xt2uQtl9A&w=560&h=315]

Wooden Nickel is a narrative adventure set in a frontier town of the great, remorseless Old West. This game is a mystery for now, though the simple aesthetics may hide a deeper narrative than we bargain for.

26. Etherborn (PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEJ44gw_Cg4&w=560&h=315]

Etherborn is a perception-bending puzzle platformer that allows you to run up walls, as well as other impossible physics maneuvers.

Traversal is built around your unique sense of gravity that anchors you to any surface you touch. Play as a voiceless being, born into a mysterious world where a bodiless voice calls to you, patiently drawing you to its location. Explore dreamlike, Escheresque levels as you go forth and seek your purpose.

27. Skatebird (PC)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-j9490u0TA&w=560&h=315]

Drop in, and be a skateboarding bird. Grind on bendy straws, kickflip over staplers, and carve killer lines through a cardboard and sticky tape world. Skatebird can’t fly, but on a board, they soar.

28. The Gardens Between (PS4)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXvRiWuRFVk&w=560&h=315]

Best friends Arina and Frendt fall into a series of vibrant, dreamlike island gardens peppered with everyday objects from their childhood.
