Despite being one of the most popular characters in Apex Legends, there’s not a lot that we know about Wraith aside from the fact that she can hear voices and open rifts. Starting next week, we’ll have a chance to find out more about her mysterious past.

The Voidwalker Themed Event will be introducing a host of new features to the game including a new Town Takeover centered around Wraith and a limited-time game mode called Armed and Dangerous.

Similar to the Octane Town Takeover, this new one will be changing a part of the King Canyon’s map once the event begins. The new area will have details and information on Wraith’s backstory and will also have a functional prototype portal for players to use.

In Armed and Dangerous, weapons around the map will mostly be changed to snipers and shotguns, while overall loot is much harder to come by.

Aside from these two features, the rest are the usual collection of new aesthetic items and new event challenges for you to complete and unlock special loot. The cosmetics will all be purchasable through the Direct Purchase Shop.

The Voidwalker Themed Event will start on 3 September 2019 and end on 17 September 2019. For more information, check out the official announcement.
