It’s Official: Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Coming To PC

Just as we expected, the launching of the Rockstar Games Launcher was a set up for something big. We just didn’t expect a set up this huge and recent.

Rockstar has just announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to PC. The best part about this announcement is that the game is actually only a month away, scheduled to be released on 5 November 2019.

It was initially released for PS4 and Xbox One just a year ago on 26 October 2018. Damn, time really flies when you keep getting dragged into Dutch’s dumb schemes.

The PC version will be mainly sold on the Rockstar Games Launcher but it will also be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, and other digital stores.

Here are the dates for you to pre-order the game on each store:

Rockstar Games Launcher – 9 October 2019

Epic Games Store – 23 October 2019
Greenman Gaming – 23 October 2019
Humble Store – 23 October 2019

Steam – No pre-order, available for purchase in December 2019

To promote the Rockstar Games Launcher, Rockstar is giving a tons of pre-purchase bonuses for those who pre-order the game on the platform. If you nab a pre-order from 9 October to 22 October 2019 through the Rockstar Games Launcher, here’s what you’ll get:

  • Free upgrade to Red Dead Redemption 2 Premium Edtion
  • US$20 Discount for Special Edition and Ultimate Edition
  • Outlaw Survival Kit for Story Mode
  • War Horse for Story Mode
  • Treasure Map for Story Mode
  • Cash bonus for Story Mode
  • 50 gold bars for Red Dead Online

Get two free Rockstar games from these choices:

  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
  • Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition

The Red Dead Online component will be available to PC players on day one and will include all previously released improvements and the latest content updates that console players have received.

In an attempt to pull in another purchase from those who have already experienced the game on consoles, Rockstar is enhancing the game’s Story Mode with new content such as new Bounty Hunting missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons, and more. Of course, there will also be new graphical options. Red Dead Redemption 2 in 4K 120fps? Yeehaw indeed, pardner.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC comes out on 5 November 2019. For the official announcement by Rockstar, read here.
