The Game Awards 2019: All The Announcements, Trailers, & Winners
By Alleef Ashaari|December 13, 2019|0 Comment
The Game Awards 2019 just concluded, and it was probably the biggest iteration of the annual event yet. It featured tons of surprises in the form of new game announcements, trailers, reveals, and a slew of guest appearances.
The “so-called biggest night in gaming” (as creator and host Geoff Keighly calls it) is certainly on its way to living up to its name. Here’s everything that was revealed and announced at The Game Awards 2019:
Many gamers were accusing Geoff Keighly of being biased towards Death Stranding since it’s made by friend Hideo Kojima. The odds for Game Of The Year was realistically either that divisive game or Remedy Entertainment’s Control. However. neither turned out to be the winner of the biggest award of the night.
Instead, it was From Software’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice who ultimately emerged as the recipient of the GOTY award. For the complete list of winners at The Game Awards 2019, head on over here, or check out our review of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice here.
