Rustland Grand Prix Turns Crash Team Racing Into Mad Max
By Alleef Ashaari|January 16, 2020|0 Comment
Publisher Activision and developer Beenox have announced the Rustland Grand Prix for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, which will be the seventh free Grand Prix season. It will run from 16 January to 16 February 2020. The theme is clearly inspired by post-apocalyptic wasteland settings like Mad Max.
Players can unlock new skins and karts, as well as fill their Nitro Gauge to earn a
monstrous new character. Crash himself can be seen holding a special trophy during this new Grand Prix, in celebration of winning the Best Racing game at The Game Awards 2019.
The new character is Crash’s greatest mistake, Mega-Mix, who is a dastardly mutant combination of Dr. Neo Cortex, N. Gin, Tiny Tiger, and Dingodile. There will also be a new track called Mega-Mix Mania, an outpost of steel, fire, graffiti, and heavy metal.
In addition, players can look forward to three new karts and new customization
items, including the Rustland skins, paint-jobs, stickers, spray-paint decals and wheels. Finishing in the top five percent of the Grand Prix leaderboards will earn players the Champion Kart and Rustland signature decal.
The Rustland Grand Prix season is set to go live on 16 January 2020 at 7am PST or 11pm GMT+8 on the same day for Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
