Impunity Esports Sends First-Ever Fighting Games Division To EVO Japan 2020

Singaporean professional esports team Impunity Esports, renowned for its top-tier Vainglory & mobile gaming team, will be dipping its toes into the fighting game division for the first time.

The group has recruited three high-level Singaporean players into the fold: Ashley “Asher” Seek, Shane “Oreoz” Goh, and Cleon “VGD” Wong. They will be representing the group for EVO Japan 2020, which takes place this weekend from 24th to 26th January.

Asher is known for his BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle plays and other anime fighting games, while Oreoz specializes in SoulCalibur VI and Samurai Shodown.

VGD is renowned for his high-level Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Dragon Ball FighterZ play using unorthodox teams.

Both Oreoz and VGD will be participating in the following for this year’s EVO Japan:

  • Soul Calibur VI
  • Samurai Shodown
  • BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle
  • Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
  • Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

On a related note, the trio will be playing the two upcoming Arc System Works fighting games Granblue Fantasy Versus and Guilty Gear Strive for the upcoming Arc World Tour 2020 circuit.
