United International Pictures has revealed the official title for the upcoming ninth instalment of the long-running Fast & Furious franchise and it’s Fast & Furious 9: The Fast Saga. It looks like we finally have a name for the Fast & Furious cinematic universe.

Fast & Furious 9: The Fast Saga will see the return of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Cena, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron, with new additions like Michael Rooker and even John Cena.

However, fan-favourites Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Statham won’t be reprising their roles as Hobbs and Shaw, since they had their spinoff movie released last year (check out our review of Hobbs and Shaw here).

The first Fast & Furious 9: The Fast Saga trailer will debut at 12pm PT on Friday, 31 January 2020 or 4am GMT+8 on Saturday, 1 February 2020 for Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia.
