Katana Zero’s Next DLC Is Larger Than We Thought
By Syazwan Bahri|February 17, 2020|0 Comment
Last time we heard from the deep and dark samurai platformer, Katana Zero, the developers added a very important feature; to be able to pet the cat, alongside hard mode and speedrun mode for true Ronins. Oh, and it’s also one of our top 30 games of 2019.Â
Recently, developers askiisoft have already announced on Twitter that their upcoming DLC is still under works, but will definitely be free of charge!
Hey everyone, long time no see! Here are some updates.
-I'm getting close to wrapping up the mobile game I'm making, @PocketSquirrel.
-The Katana ZERO DLC is 3x the original planned size, but is still in development and will still be free. Thank you for your patience with this.— Justin (@askiisoft) February 14, 2020
According to the tweet, the DLC will be three times larger than originally expected. The “delay” is justified and expected thanks to the pristine quality of the game, at least from our point of view.
The developer also touched upon the game’s vinyl in the following tweet. It’s still in development as the developers are trying their best to nail the perfect audio. Frankly, Katana Zero‘s audio and the soundtrack are one of the best in recent times.
-The Katana ZERO vinyl is still in the works. We're working hard to get the audio perfect.
-I'll be doing a talk at GDC on motion and combat design in my games.
-Also happy Valentine's Day, and remember to stay hydrated!— Justin (@askiisoft) February 14, 2020
Anyhow, there is no release date yet for both the DLC and the vinyl, but this is one DLC that we are looking forward to. If you’re having doubts about how great the game is, read our review on Katana Zero; hopefully, we’ll be able to change your mind.
