Smash Is Getting A Warframe Character
By Melvyn Tan|February 27, 2020|0 Comment
Unexpected events have been rocking Malaysia recently, so here’s some unexpected news of a more positive sort: the Lotus from Warframe is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Wake up, Tenno! Lotus is joining #SmashBrosUltimate as a Spirit!

That’s right, the mysterious NPC from the space ninja game is the latest crossover character to join Nintendo’s game, although she’ll be a Spirit rather than a fighter.
According to Eurogamer, the Lotus is “a two-star Advanced, Neutral, Primary unit”. She is also an Enhanceable Spirit that transforms after reaching level 99 and has three open slots. Players will have to battle Bayonetta to get her.
Eurogamer notes that you’ll be able to not just unlock the Lotus, but her Natah form (it’s spoilery if you haven’t played the relevant Warframe quests).
Spirits with a black motif will appear in the five-day #SmashBrosUltimate spirit event "Spirits in Black", starting on 28/02! For this event only, the new enhanceable spirit Lotus from Warframe will be available. Don't miss out! pic.twitter.com/ryEG35vnCU

The Lotus’ addition comes thanks to Nintendo’s Spirits in Black event, which starts on Friday. The event will run for five days, and aside from the Lotus, will feature the appearances of “spirits with a black motif”, hence the event name.
