New Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition Screenshots Make The Original Obsolete
By Alleef Ashaari|April 28, 2020|0 Comment
Nintendo initially gave us our first look at Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition in last month’s Nintendo Direct Mini 2020. It is slated to release for the Nintendo Switch next month on 29 May 2020.
The official Twitter account for the upcoming game has released various new screenshots depicting multiple characters, including Shulk, Fiora, Melia, and more. Japanese blog Hachima has compared these new screenshots with those from the original Wii version of the JRPG.
You can see how much more detailed and crisp the new visuals are, which will make the original game almost impossible to return to once Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition launches. The expressions on their faces look more natural and realistic, as opposed to the blurry older versions.

Check out the comparisons below, all of which feature the Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition screenshots on top, with the original Wii version equivalent below them, respectively.
Besides improved visuals, Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition will also feature improved battle HUD and menu screens, as well as remastered and remixed music. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
