Invincible Animated Adaptation Will Feature Zachary Quinto & Khary Payton

Image’s Invincible comic series, a story about teen Mark Grayson as he grows up to be a superhero, is getting an animated adaptation exclusively on Amazon. It’s getting quite an impressive voice cast including Steven “Glen” Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Zazie Beetz, Walton Goggins, Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Jason Mantzoukas, Mae Whitman, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Sandra Oh.

That list is getting better, as it now has Zachary Quinto and Khary Payton according to Hollywood Reporter. Here’s the breakdown on who will play who.

Steven Yeun – Mark Grayson/Invincible

J.K. Simmons – Omni Man

Zachary Quinto – Robot

Khary Payton – Black Samson

This should be interesting; Zachary Quinto as Robot is perfect casting given the context of the series from start to finish. We should be hearing more about the show soon enough. There’s no release date or year for Invincible just yet.
