Organized by Philippine’s advertising industry’s definitive source for information adobo Magazine, the adobo Esports Mobile Legends Mythical Bowl will focus on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with teams comprising of 16 professional advertising agencies in the country.

The aim of the tournament is to strengthen the camaraderie within the advertising community, as well as notable for being the first-ever inter-agency league in the Philippines. It began on 6 August 2020 and will continue to take place until the Grand Finals on 1 September 2020.

Specific matches happen every Tuesday and Thursday, all of which are streamed live at the adobo Esports Facebook page.

The teams will be divided into four groups and compete on 6, 11, 13, and 18 August 2020 from 7pm onwards with two matches every night. They will be commentated by shoutcasters such as TDZ, Midnight, Nomad PH, Leo, and Uomi.

Winners from the four nights will move up into the two-part quarterfinals on 20 and 25 August 2020. The final four teams will then fight it out in the semifinals on 27 August 2020 to the determine who will make to the Grand Finals on 1 September 2020.

adobo magazine President and Editor-in-Chief Angel Guerrero said:

“We created this tournament to connect the ad community online and have them meet-up, compete, have fun, and win some prizes.

We are taking the agencies’ competitive spirit online, and shifting the pitches from the board room or zoom room to a game of Mobile Legends — a way to relieve the hardworking-from-home agency people and hopefully, spark joy.”

The tournament will also award additional awards to the League MVP, Best Marksman, Best Mage, Best Assassin, Best Fighter, Best Support, Best Logo, and Best Tank of the tournament.

The first season of the adobo Esports Mobile Legends Mythical Bowl is co-presented by Globe, ASUS ROG, and E-Project.
