Malaysian Cinemas Will Let You Play Games On The Big Screen
By Alleef Ashaari|October 26, 2020|0 Comment
It looks like the lack of movies are having a more dire impact on local cinemas than we thought. Malaysian cinemas are now offering their cinema halls for the experience of playing your games on the big screens.
That’s right, you no longer have to be a millionaire and have a personal cinema at your house. You can simply book a hall at either GSC or TGV cinemas.
TGV Cinemas is offering three different packages. The base Master package gives you three hours for RM180, while the Epic package offers three hours of usage and five regular popcorn combos for RM230. The most expensive is the Legend Package at RM280, which gives you four hours and a choice of five regular popcorn or hot food combos.
However, they will only accept any console that uses HDMI, with the exception of PCs or laptops. To book, you can email TGV at sales@tgv.com.my. You have to book one week in advance and those who book a hall will stand a chance to win a PS4 console.
TGV’s cinema bookings will be available at all TGV locations until 30 November 2020, except for certain locations due to the CMCO.
On the other hand, GSC cinemas offer two different packages. The first costs RM188 for three hours. The second more expensive package offers three hours with food and drinks at RM250, alongside an addition RM200 voucher that’s valid from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2021.
You have to book 14 days in advance, and the GSC cinema bookings are only available at GSC Queensbay Mall, GSC Ipoh Parade, GSC Paradigm Mall JB and GSC AEON Bandaraya Melaka. To book, you can email marketing@gsc.com.my.
