NieR Duo Yoko Taro and Yosuke Saito Are Currently Working On Two New Games
The games industry in Japan is really busy with future projects next year and so forth, including Yoko Taro and Yosuke Saito.
The two developers, renowned for their work on NieR and NieR Automata, are busy with two upcoming titles according to a recent Games Industry Chit-Chat 2020 Year-End Party (via Games Talk and Gematsu). According to Saito, he wasnt’ keen on one of the titles. It took a lot of convincing and a 1-hour presentation from Yoko Taro for Saito to finally give in and reluctantly work on the game. To quote Saito: “If I could quit, I would”.
Could it be that adults-only project Yoko Taro talked about a while back in 2017? Guess we’ll find out later in 2021 and 2022.
