Out this Week: October 22nd – 29th

We are finally here. The ‘golden week’ of games releases for this month. Tons of hyped-up games are hitting shelves this week so we decided to list five of the most anticipated titles gamers cannot wait to get their hands on. Shooters, action-adventure, a dancing game and even a contender to Breath of the Wild as Game of the Year? We really are spoilt for choice. Have a look:

Oct 24: Destiny 2 (PC)

A case of ‘finally it’s here!’ for PC folks, Destiny 2 drops on the PC this 24th. An improvement in all aspects from the first game, PC players will finally get a dose of the epic RPG-MMO-Shooter hybrid which has been a PS4 exclusive til now.

Oct 24: Just Dance 2018 (PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, XBox 360, Wii, WiiU)

The go to dancing game if you ask us. One of the few games still supporting last-gen consoles shows Ubisoft’s continued dedication to the fanbase of this franchise.

Oct 27: Assassin’s Creed: Origins (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Almost two years since the last Assassin’s Creed game, so our hopes are understandably high for this game which is set in ancient Egypt. The recent paywall for DLCs does leave a bitter aftertaste but if the game is that good, players will not mind paying for quality content. We have a good feeling about this.

Oct 27: Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (PC, PS4, Xbox One)

You get to shoot at Nazis. What is there not to like about this game? The premise sells for itself.

Oct 27: Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)

Up til now, our pick for 2017’s Game of the Year is by far, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But Super Mario Odyssey may stake a legit claim to that and with a very strong point to boot. The graphics look really good and the gameplay – from what we’ve seen so far – are brilliant. Only time will tell but we see another title worth picking up the Switch for.
