Overwatch League: WhoRu Joins Philadelphia Fusion

Former OGN APEX Seasons 2 and 3 winner with Lunatic-Hai, DPS main Seung-Joon “WhoRU” Lee has joined the Philadelphia Fusion organization and will compete under its ‘academy team’ in Overwatch Contenders according to a YouTube video by the team’s channel last night.

Dubbed the ‘Developmental League’, nine other Overwatch League teams will also field their own Contenders teams, mostly made up of players mostly ineligible to play for the main team due to a variety of reasons. WhoRu, last seen playing for Lunatic-Hai was surprisingly left out of the main Seoul Dynasty roster for the Overwatch League. Joining him in the Fusion Overwatch Contenders team include ex-Tempo Storm tank Adam “Beasthalo” Denton, Renegades DPS Zachary “ZachaREEE” Lombardo, and his former Lunatic-Hai teammate, support Kim “Alarm” Kyeong Bo, whom many dubbed the next Ryujehong.
