Hot Toys’ New Black Panther Action Figure Was Probably Made in Wakanda

Hot Toys yesterday revealed what is probably the coolest, most technologically advanced 1/6th action figure to date since Hulkbuster with the unveiling of the Black Panther 1/6th scale action figure from the upcoming movie of the same name. If you seen the trailers, you’d notice King T’Challa’s got a new Black Panther suit which glows purple at times. Without revealing too much about the movie, it’s a new tech for his Black Panther suit which would even impress the likes of Tony Stark, and was designed by T’Challa’s sister, Shuri – and guess what?  The action figure comes with the same effects as well!

For more close-ups of the figure, check out the slideshow below:

Now that’s one action figure fitting for a royalty.

Expect it to stand around 12-inch tall and come with the usual bells and whistles that accompany all Hot Toys action figures; extra and exchangeable hands and head (awesome Chadwick Boseman head sculpt!), tons of articulation and of course, movie-accurate detail. Although, one cool feature we noticed is the removable covers around the eyes allowing you to replicate several scenes from the movie. You should be able to pre-order this action figure from high-end collectible and toy stores near you and we’d estimate its retail price to hover around the US$230 or MYR900 range.

Marvel’s Black Panther is set to hit cinemas locally come Feb 14th 2018. We saw it last week and we have it reviewed here.
