Legion of Champions Series 2: Bangkok 2018 Kicked off with a bang!
By |February 2, 2018|0 Comment
The Legion of Champions Grand Finals kicked off in Bangkok with 7 teams competing: Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong/Macau, Vietnam and Indonesia with a total of 9 teams battling it out for the 15,000 USD prizepool.
The opening ceremony was graced by BNK 48, the Thai popular girls’ group. Their singing and dancing were definitely an addictive sight to behold. Legion of Champions was a 3 day event which consisted of Legion by Lenovo product demos which included their VR Ready PCs and laptops, the Lenovo Y520 Anniversary Edition Laptop Launch, cosplays, and so much more!
Team “Argma” from Hong Kong brought home the bacon, grabbing the championship title with them. The Philippines’ “Wargods” came in as runner up and last but not least, Fire Dragoon from Malaysia in third place.
This is the second time Legion of Champions has come round. 1400 teams had participated this year across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong with the number of teams increased this year. We hope to see Legion of Champions again next year with more teams participating and even bloodier tests of skill in League of Legends!
