Blizzard Drops First Look of Hearthstone’s Upcoming Single-Player Mode

Blizzard earlier today dropped more info on the upcoming Monster Hunt, the free, repeatable single-player content coming next week in Hearthstone’s latest expansion, The Witchwood. In Monster Hunt, players can choose to play as one of four veteran Monster Hunters, each with their own Hero Power and unique treasures to collect.

“Each of the new monster hunters builds on top of regular Hearthstone classes” said Paul Nguyen, Associate Game Designer.  “But they all come with new, unique hero power. It changes how you play with cards you’ve known and loved in the past” he added.

Players will venture deep into the Witchwood on Hagatha the Witch’s trail to overcome a series of monstrous bosses who dare to cross their path. With each victory, players build a stronger and stronger deck with the items they find, including treasures exclusive to certain foes.

“If you played the Dungeon Run in Kobolds and Catacombs, the Monster Hunt will feel familiar” added Hearthstone Lead Mission Designer Dave Kosak

The Monster Hunt releases on Thursday, April 26 at 10 am PDT/ 1am April 27th 2018 for Singapore/ Kuala Lumpur
