Is There Going To Be A Bleach Sequel?
Remember that manga Bleach that used to be one of the big three of Shonen Jump alongside Naruto and One Piece before its creator Tite Kubo realized that he did not have the knack to do long-form storytelling? Well looks like he’s going to be releasing a special artbook to commemorate those wonder years of hero Ichigo Kurosaki being a Soul Reaper/Shinigami and fighting Hollows/other Shinigami/whatever cool stuff Kubo could come up with at the time.
The artbook will be called Bleach JET and will feature over 700 pieces of artwork being collected in more than 500 pages.
Bleach will receive a new artbook collecting all of the artwork over the last 15 years, Bleach JET –it'll have 500 pieces of artwork. Preorders will remain open until August 20th. pic.twitter.com/sSC6q0xyDn

Here’s where it gets interesting: Tite Kubo himself sent out a recent tweet which featured two images. One of them is Ichigo in a graphic tee that says “and little sequel”. Fans are theorizing that there might be a follow-up story in the collection. Whether it’ll be about Ichigo himself, his kid, or his two siblings Yuzu & Karin is entirely up in the air.
As someone who used to read Bleach religiously before it, to put it politely, s*** the bed post-Hueco Mundo arc, I still hold out hope that the last half of the manga was a fever dream. I also hopelessly dream for a follow-up that focuses on Ichigo’s kid and further shinigami exploits from the Gotei 13.
