[Report] New NVidia GTX 1180 To Launch 30 July

If you’re wondering what’s up with NVidia as of late, do we have a scoop for you.

According to “a reliable board partner” on Gamer Meld news (video below), the company may be working hard on a new graphics card called the NVidia GTX 1180 for 30 July. The new card looks like it’s going the next generation route:

  • It will be priced between US$720 to US$730.
  • It will run on 8GB of RAM.
  • It will offer support for DirectX 12.5 and DirectX13.
  • It will have 3,584 CUDA cores, 8GB to 16GB of GDDR6 memory piping data through a 256-bit bus, and run at around 1.6GHz (core) to 1.8GHz (boost). Tech heads and graphics card buffs will probably get wet just hearing a few words from that tangent.

Guess the graphics cards arms race is getting interesting by the week. This is all just a report and speculation on our part, so take it with a grain of salt.
