Netflix Announces Stranger Things Season 3 Release Date

It’s been more than a year since the second season but Netflix has finally announced the release date for the highly-anticipated Stranger Things Season 3 of the 80s-based sci-fi horror series. It will premiere on July 4, 2019.

The previous seasons have always premiered in October with a distinctive Halloween theme. Instead, Stranger Things Season 3 will take place during the summer of 1985, which is why it will be released on Independence Day.

Stranger Things Season 3 will feature eight episodes and a new Starcourt Mall setting. Besides that, not much has been revealed about the plot for the upcoming new season. The official poster comes with the tagline; ‘One Summer Can Change Everything.’

Until we receive a proper trailer for Stranger Things Season 3, we’ll have to make do with the short teaser below. With many months to go before the new season’s premiere, we have ample time to rewatch and refresh ourselves on the first two seasons.
