World Of Warcraft: Battle For Azeroth Is Getting An Awesome-Sounding Horde/Alliance Raid
By Alleef Ashaari|January 24, 2019|0 Comment
Blizzard has announced that a new epic Raid, Battle of Dazar’alor, has arrived in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. It’s a nine-boss raid that features faction-specific encounters against iconic Horde or Alliance leaders, such as High Tinker Mekkatorque and King Rastakhan.
What makes this brand new Raid especially historic is that for the first time ever in the MMORPG’s 15-year history, players will be able to experience this conflict from the perspectives of both factions.
Besides that, today also marks the start of Mythic Keystone Dungeon Season 2, with the addition of a new supernatural seasonal affix: Reaping. Throughout the dungeon, players will be tormented by the resurrected souls of their enemies, thanks to Bwonsamdi, the Loa of Death, who will be summoned by high-level Keystones.
World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth PvP Season 2 starts today as well, including new rewards like a new mount and the seasonal Sinister Gladiator armor set. Players who earn 500 Conquest points through PvP activities including Arenas, Battlegrounds, and Assaults in War Mode will still be able to choose a piece of gear from each week’s selection, in addition to earning Quartermaster’s Coins, which can be used to upgrade pieces from this season’s Sinister Gladiator PvP set.
Last but not least, Azerite armor items earned from Season 2 PvP, the Battle of Dazar’alor raid, World Quest Emissaries, and the Mythic Keystone vendor Thaumaturge Vashreen in Zuldazar and Boralus, will feature a fifth ring of potent new Azerite armor traits. Players should also be glad to learn that rewards from activities like Normal and Heroic dungeons and the recently-added Battle for Darkshore Warfront have been upgraded.
