Bandai Namco Confirms Jump Force Roster Complete, Here’s The List

Bandai Namco has confirmed that the Jump Force roster is now officially complete. That includes a total of 42 playable characters at launch.

For your convenience, here’s a list of all the playable fighters in Jump Force, categorized according to which manga/anime they’re originally from:

  • Dragon Ball – Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, Frieza, Cell

  • Naruto – Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Gaara, Boruto, Kaguya

  • One Piece – Luffy, Zolo, Blackbeard, Sanji, Sabo, Boa Hancock

  • Bleach – Ichigo, Rukia, Aizen, Renji Abarai

  • Hunter X Hunter – Gon, Killua, Hisoka, Kurapika

  • Black Clover – Asta

  • Yu Yu Hakusho – Yusuke Urameshi, Toguro

  • My Hero Academia – Izuku Midoriya/Deku

  • Saint Seiya – Pegasus Seiya, Dragon Shiryu

  • Rurouni Kenshin – Kenshin Himura, Makoto Shishio

  • Fist of the North Star – Kenshiro

  • Yu-Gi-Oh! – Yugi Muto

  • Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai – Dai

  • City Hunter – Ryo Saeba

  • Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures – Jotaro Kujo, Dio

  • Original Jump Force Characters (created by Akira Toriyama) – Galena, Kane

While some fans might be disappointed that their favorite characters won’t be in the upcoming crossover fighting game, it’s possible that Bandai Namco could be saving them for the DLC. As part of the Jump Force Season Pass, a total of 9 as-of-yet unrevealed playable characters will be joining the game post-launch.

For instance, while Ryuk and Light Yagami from Death Note might be featured in Jump Force‘s story, they are not playable characters. However, the DLC can probably change that. Perhaps other iconic Shonen Jump characters from Fullmetal Alchemist, Blue Exorcist, Black Cat, and more will be able to join the fray in the future.

Jump Force is slated to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 15 February 2019. In the meantime, check out the Jump Force story trailer below, or check out my first impressions of the game here.
