Airwolf’s Jan-Michael Vincent Passed Away at 73
Actor and ’80s heartthrob Jan-Michael Vincent, star of Airwolf, has passed away at the age of 73
The actor was reported to have passed away on 10 February but was only reported by TMZ when they received his death certificate. No autopsy was performed and he was later cremated.
His CBS show, Airwolf, received accolades and was his ticket to stardom. At the time, he was one of the highest paid actors, earning $200k (RM817,520) per episode. He starred as the helicopter pilot Stringfellow Hawke on Airwolf, but due to involvement with drugs, the show lasted only a couple of seasons. The involvement affected his career, sadly.
I remember waiting for Airwolf to air when I was a young boy. Airwolf was one of my favourite childhood shows, and it’s definitely a sad day today.
