Evangelion’s Kaworu Spreads His Angelic Wings With New Figure

Fans are gearing up for Hideaki Anno’s Evangelion 3.0+1.0, the concluding installment to his rebooted Neon Genesis Evangelion reimagining series of movies, which is slated to arrive sometime 2020.

Toy manufacturer Precious G.E.M. is celebrating the upcoming movie by releasing a new Kaworu Nagisa figure with angelic wings and wielding the fabled Spear Of Longinus which is purportedly the same one that pierced the side of Jesus Christ during the Crucifixion.

The Kaworu figure stands 300mm tall with a 200mm wingspan. However, the wings are actually detachable so you can remove them to save space on your shelf for display purposes.

The “Precious GEM Series Evangelion Movie New Movie Version” Kaworu is priced at Â¥20,350 (including tax) or roughly RM772.10. It is now available for pre-order at “Premium Bandai” and others. Product delivery is scheduled for February 2020.

Check out the Kaworu figure below.
