Ubisoft Extends Spring Sale; Here Are Our Top Five Picks

It looks like Ubisoft has extended their Spring Sale to 8 April 2020 instead of letting it end on 25 March 2020. This means more time to get those discounted games, of which there are many. Here are five recommendations to make it a bit easier to decide what to get.

Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway (RM8.75)

0000004611.1920x1080

Squad-based tactical shooter. While you’ll be in first-person mode usually, making use of the third-person cover system and the different squads at your command is essential for victory.

Rainbow Six Siege (RM28)

Tactical shooter of the competitive multiplayer sort. Takes Counter-Strike‘s hostage and bomb defusal modes and throws in unique Operators, destructible environments, and buildings to lay siege to or defend.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (RM68.97)

Not everyone is a fan of the new Assassin’s Creed games’ shift to action RPG. If you don’t mind that, there’s a massive Grecian open world to get lost in.

Far Cry 3 (RM28)

I can’t be recommending Far Cry 2 all the time, so here’s Far Cry 3, because it’s cheaper than parts 4 and 5. Scripted and linear story missions aside, you’ll be spending your time conquering the open world’s outposts with stealth or a loud approach, and hunt animals for crafting materials.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (RM11.90)

0000003989.1920x1080 (1)

It’s old, but it’s a classic that did a better job of wowing critics than the more recent Blacklist. While Conviction and Blacklist went for a more action-focused approach, Chaos Theory has a greater focus on sticking to the shadows.
