Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Will Continue Online

The Season 5 Playoffs of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League Malaysia and Singapore will be held from 1 May to 3 May. The tournament will be happening online, just as others have done during this COVID-19 pandemic, with Yoodo as the official digital telco.

The matches, which will be played every day from 2pm, will be streamed on MLBB’s Facebook page and on Astro Arena with Bahasa Malaysia commentary, while the MLBB YouTube Channel’s stream will be in English.

“The upcoming Playoffs will be played entirely online as a measure to safeguard the health and safety of all our players, fans and crew,” said Moonton Director of Esports Lucas Mao.

“We apologise for not being able to bring the on-ground experience that fans love. At the same time, we commend the fans who have been staying home and following the guidelines set by local authorities during this challenging time. There’s no better time to sit back and enjoy the esports action that we have in store at the Playoffs, which is going to be an exciting one.”

The last four seasons have seen two Malaysian and two Singaporean teams take the win, with players from those winning teams making it into Season 5’s Playoffs as well. This season’s Playoffs will see Resurgence (SG), Geek Fam (MY), EVOS SG (SG), Team Bosskurr (MY), Orange Esports Reborn (MY), Todak (MY), Team SMG (MY), and Axis Esports (MY) competing for a top prize of RM109,700.
