Halo 2: Anniversary Is Finally Coming To PC Next Week

Developer 343 Industries has announced that Halo 2: Anniversary will be arriving for PC as part of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection next week on 12 May 2020. Originally launching in 2004, this latest version of the classic game is an HD remaster, optimized for PC with up to 4K and at 60 FPS support.

Halo 2: Anniversary will also come with other PC native settings, including customizable mouse and keyboard support, ultrawide support, FOV customization, and more. Players can also switch between the original graphics or the enhanced updated visuals.

In addition, players can look forward to seven remastered multiplayer maps from Halo 2: Anniversary and 25 multiplayer maps from the original Halo 2, featuring a completely updated progression system.

You can add Halo 2: Anniversary to your wishlist on Steam or grab the entire Halo: The Master Chief Collection for RM65. It’s also available on the Microsoft Store, and the Xbox Game Pass.

The next title slated for release as part of the Halo The Master Chief Collection is Halo 3: Anniversary, though the developer has yet to announce a release date or window. In the meantime, check out the trailer below, or head on over here for our review of Halo Reach on PC.
