Which Video Game Stores Are Open During COVID-19? Malaysia Edition

With the COVID-19 MCO restrictions being a bit more relaxed now, a lot of folks are slowly able to hang out in restaurants and cafes as well as go about their usual lives. Almost. Most importantly, we are seeing a handful of businesses opening up shop, tech and video games including.
So which game stores in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia are opening up? Here’s a quick list. Just keep in mind: these stores will close early due to MCO rules. Do contact the branch you want to check their opening hours.
Malaysia’s prominent video game store chain is up and running at the following locations:
Apart from having to temporarily close to restock -they recently did this on 12th May- the store will be operational. As a bonus, the stores are offering a trade-in offer; the more used titles you trade in, the higher your chances will be to win prizes up to RM30,000.

The incredibly big tech and gaming hub at Section 14 Petaling Jaya is open from 11am to 7pm. Do be sure to bring a mask while adhering to MCO rules while you’re shopping for your games, your gadgets, and other tech stuff.
Nestled in the middle of SS15, HeavyArm is open for business, although you might need to contact them beforehand to ensure smooth business. Good luck finding a parking spot in the middle of the perpetually busy SS15.
