Joseph Gordon-Levitt Is Looking For Malaysian Speakers, Writers & Musicians (Update)

(Updated on 12 August 2020)

Earlier today, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has posted yet another one on his Facebook. This time, he’s looking for Malaysian writers who can write in either English or Malay.

All you have to do is observe the picture below and write one line about it in either English or Malay. You can head to this link to contribute now.

He’s also looking for musicians and artists to work with.

For those unfamiliar, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is more than an actor. He is also the founder of an online collaborative media platform called HitRecord, which uses a variety of media to produce projects such as movies, short films, books, and DVDs.

Now, he’s looking for Malay speakers or anyone who speaks Malay in order to contribute to a project called ‘Poetry Around The World’. He shared the news on his personal Facebook account earlier today, and so far more than a thousand people have contributed their voices to date.

All you have to do is go to the link provided in Gordon-Levitt’s Facebook post (here).

The project requires contributors to speak the only one word; the English word ‘poetry’ in Malay, which translates to ‘puisi’.

In order to contribute your voice, you need to log in via Facebook, Twitter, Google or your email address when you select the button ‘Contribute’. Then, you’ll need to create a username. After all that, you need to record your voice via any recording app and transfer the file. In addition, you also need to add a title and an optional description.

Who knows? Your voice might be chosen and used in the project.

In the meantime, Joesph-Gordon Levitt will soon be spurred into action once again in the upcoming Netflix’s Project Power. You can check out our interview with him and the rest of the Project Power cast here.
