EA Play Games Will Be Available On Xbox Game Pass Starting November

The Xbox Game Pass initiative keeps getting bigger.

Starting this November and December, EA Play games will be available on Xbox consoles and PC respectively. Xbox Series X/Xbox Series S this November, PC this December. The catch? You have to subscribe to the Ultimate edition which will cost you US$14.99 per month. Oh, and if you already subscribed to both EA Play and Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft is canceling EA Play subscriptions and any remaining time over 50 days will be “rounded up and converted to the nearest month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at a ratio of three to one”.

o if you have 3 months of EA Play on your account, you’ll get 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added. Head here for the full FAQ on that.

So what’s available on EA Play? Well, if you like the The Sims, FIFA, Battlefield, and Mass Effect, then you’ll find a lot to love with this piece of news. In related news, Bethesda classics and current games will be available on Xbox Game Pass later this year. The first game? Doom Eternal on 1st October.

Also, here’s a handy picture from Xbox explaining the Xbox Game Pass ideology. To summarize, if you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate edition for a generous monthly subscription, you get to play whatever games that are available on either your PC, your mobile phone (via xCloud), or your Xbox Series X/S console which you may get this November via parallel importing. No Malaysia support for Xbox; too bad.
