Halo Infinite Director Leaves The Project

It looks like Halo Infinite‘s development is more troubled than we thought. According to Bloomberg, Halo Infinite director Chris Lee has left the project.

Lee said:

“I have stepped back from Infinite and I am looking at future opportunities.

I believe in the team and am confident they will deliver a great game and now is a good time for me to step away.”

However, according to Microsoft, Lee is still an employee of theirs, despite having left Halo Infinite‘s development. The game was originally supposed to launch in Holiday 2020 but has been delayed to sometime in 2021.

It’s currently unclear how this will affect the already-turbulent production of Halo Infinite, though the odds are that it doesn’t spell good tidings. In the meantime, stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for all the latest news on the Xbox Series X, and check out all the latest updates and developments on all things Xbox to date here.
