Pixar’s Soul To Premiere On Disney Plus In Available Countries
By Alleef Ashaari|October 9, 2020|0 Comment
Disney has announced that Pixar’s Soul will premiere exclusively on Disney Plus in countries where the streaming service is available, such as the US, and others.
It will be skipping cinemas in those countries, but for countries without Disney Plus (like Malaysia), the upcoming animated movie will still premiere in cinemas. However, Disney Plus subscribers will not have to shell out extra money to watch Soul, unlike Mulan (which cost US$30).
Pixar’s Soul is slated to premiere on Disney Plus on 25 December 2020 (in countries with Disney Plus).
At the time of writing, it will still premiere in Malaysian cinemas on 20 November 2020.
Directed by Pete Docter, Pixar’s Soul features a middle-school music teacher (voiced by Jamie Foxx) who dreams of being a jazz performer. However, he gets in an accident that causes his soul to be separated from his body and transported to the You Seminar. He then teams up with 22 (voiced by Tina Fey) to return his soul back to his body on Earth before it’s too late.
In other related news, Pixar’s Soul will have an animated short that precedes the movie in cinemas.
