Watch Dogs: Legion Has A Game-Breaking Bug, But…

Watch Dogs: Legion is out later this week, but if you’re planning to buy the Xbox One version of the game, you may want to take note of this next bit of news.

According to Eurogamer, the Xbox One X version of the game has a game-breaking bug that makes progress in its campaign impossible. The issue triggers in the 6+ hour mark where the game freezes on a mission called 404. No, we’re not kidding. The game freezes at a certain point and the Xbox console warns that it will shut down due to overheating. The funny thing is that Ubisoft recommends reviewers to play their games on Xbox One X consoles. You couldn’t make this up.

There are minor bugs in the PS4 Pro version of the game, but it’s not as egregious as the Xbox One X issue.

Ubisoft, a company we’ve covered in a different light the past few months, said it will be fixing this problem by the end of this week, since that’s when the game will be played by many. Stay tuned for our review early next week.
